Award-winning cartoonist Nathan Schreiber’s atmospheric take on Hansel and Gretel continues in Power Out chapter 3. Justin retreats into the guarded confines of the woods, his sister Carrie navigates the exposed beaches of the cape, and the entire east coast remains in darkness. The siblings independently explore fear, love, and loneliness, only to discover that it’s not just their parents who left them behind. Premiering the 56-page book at MoCCA Festival in NYC on April 9th, Schreiber is having a preview event at True Believers Comics and Gallery in Santa Fe. On Wednesday, March 30, Schreiber will be signing and drawing small sketches in books from 5:00-7:00.
