7000 BC members will be a part of the Local Comics Pop-Up at Big Adventure Comics at their new location at 418 Montezuma, Suite C (in the Jean Cocteau building, across from Sanbusco) in Santa Fe on Saturday, April 8 starting at 1:00. New Mexico-based writers and artists will be selling their creator-owned books and talking about how they work.

This is a great opportunity to support local talent and to connect with people making comics.

It will also be 7000 BC's April meeting, there will be business conducted later in the afternoon.

7000 BC's happy to return to Denver Independent Comic and Art Expo on April 8–9, this year at McNichols Civic Center Building. DINK puts the emphasis on the independent spirit, cultural relevance, imagination, and community of comics, graphic novels, zines, art, publishers, and fans. There are some great guests lined up, and we'll be on hand representing comics from New Mexico.

City of Mud gallery in Santa Fe presents the exhibition Illustrated: Masters of Graphic Novel Art, opening Friday, April 7 at 5:00, featuring works by Bill Sienkiewicz (New Mutants, Electra, Assasin, The Shadow), Andy Kuhn (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Firebreather), George Pratt (Dark Knight), Scott Hampton (Dark Knight, Spookehous), William Wray (Ren and Stimpy), and Bruce Jones (Batman, Weird Worlds). The exhibition, curated by Jamie Chase, runs through June 30.
