7000 BC was one of four organizations invited to participate in Starting Conversations, a New Mexico Humanities Council youtube series featuring a variety of NMHC grant recipients. Participants from 7000 BC, Farmington Museum Foundation, Moving Arts Española, and Virus Theatre joined moderator Ken Watt to discuss keeping culture and community alive in Covid times. The discussion was a fascinating exploration of the challenges and opportunities that have come with the shifting landscape of 2020. All of the organizations are recipients of the CARES Act Grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the New Mexico Humanities Council.
